Q: I'm not ready for my daughter/son to get his/her hair colored, but my child really wants to do it-what do you suggest?

A: There are a few options you can choose from: 

1. Colored hair spray or colored gel. They are easy to use and come out with the first wash. We have many colors available, and our staff are available to show you how to use them.

2.Removable hair extension/feather

3.Only color the hair you will get cut during the next haircut appointment! We can easily color just the ends/front tips. Schedule a consultation

Q: How long does the color service take?

A: Depending on the service requested, expect to be in the salon 45min-2hrs+. After your consultation, the colorist will provide you with an approximate service time. If needed, you can "drop-off" your child after the consultation.

Q: How long does the color last?

A: Color longevity varies depending on many factors. Using color-safe shampoo maintains color vibrancy. Most color services can last approximately 10-30 washes. With a consultation, our colorist can provide the best approximation.

Q: Can I swim after a color service?

A: Saltwater and Chlorinated water will effect your colored hair. It is recommended that you do not swim with color-treated hair, or swim with a swim cap on.

Q: Do you have to lighten the hair?

A: Yes, lightening the hair allows for color penetration and vibrancy. 

Q: Do I need to make an appointment?

A: We do recommend appointments for color services. We also recommend complimentary consultation appointments pior to color services.
